草榴社区 Air Seaplane Charter Flights
Available in four different sizes and are only flown by 草榴社区 Air pilots. We fly seaplane charter flights during daylight hours as per the Visual Flight Rules (VFR), which means our seaplane operations usually end just after 7 p.m.聽 All seaplanes are positioned back to the 草榴社区 Air Harbor in the evening.

AMAZING PICNIC LOCATIONS
Sucia Island 鈥 Lake Isabel 鈥 Cutts Island 鈥 Matia Island
Fly into a remote beach, hop off the plane and enjoy a few hours of remote serenity. Bring a picnic or some refreshments or just enjoy nature as served.
Sucia Island
The northernmost of the San Juan Islands, this horseshoe-shaped island is accessible only by boat and is considered the crown jewel of the state鈥檚 marine parks.

There are no services on the island, which is known for its beautiful green water and forested hiking trails.
Lake Isabel
This lake is located in the Central Cascades just north of Gold Bar, and while it isn鈥檛 technically a secret, there鈥檚 no hiking trail leading there so it鈥檚 tough to access. Well, unless you arrive on a floatplane.

Finding your way to a place you can鈥檛 hike to let alone drive is a special way to spend an afternoon.
Cutts Island
You鈥檒l find a perfect day at the beach on this tiny little island west of Gig Harbor in the Carr Inlet. The island itself is just 2 acres with a sandy beach accessible at low tide and a clay butte that is topped with trees.

- Good beach for butter clams
Located just a half-mile northwest of Kopachuk State Park this is a perfect spot for an afternoon on the beach.
Matia Island
The majority of this island is closed to the public to provide undisturbed habitat for wildlife. Hiking is restricted to the 1.2-mile trail, which provides a glimpse of old-growth island forest habitat that is found in only a very few places in the region.

CHECK-IN (CHARTERS)
- International charter flight check-in must be completed at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure due to US Homeland Security regulations, passports required.
- Domestic charter flight check-in must be completed at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS (CHARTERS)
- A Passport Book is required for all passengers on international routes, including lap infants. See International Travel.
- Government-issued photo ID is required for adult passengers on domestic routes. Proof of age is required for Lap Infants on domestic routes.
CHANGES & CANCELLATION (CHARTERS)
A credit card is required to secure all charter bookings. The balance due is charged in full (21) days prior to the first flight date or at the time of booking, whichever is last.
CHANGES
- Any changes to a booked charter 鈥 whether of date, time, aircraft type, party size, route, stand-by time, or other parameters 鈥 will be accommodated without additional charge at 草榴社区 Air鈥檚 sole discretion. Clients acknowledge at time of booking that changes may result in additional charges.
CANCELLATION
- Charters may be canceled without penalty up to fourteen (14) days prior to the flight date.
- Cancellations made between one (1) and fourteen (14) days prior to flight date are subject to a penalty of 25% of the total charter charge.
- Same-day cancellation (less than 24 hours prior to departure) or no-show results in full forfeiture of the charter charge.
